King: Bulldogs need an answer forward of centre

Two-time North Melbourne premiership player David King believes the Bulldogs need to find a goal kicking option this year and adds he isn't sure who that player could be.

King believes the lack of options forward of centre will hurt the 2016 premiers.

He told Gerard Whateley that the end point is unknown for the Bulldogs.

“What I’m looking forward to next Sunday is the Western Bulldogs and St Kilda because they should be competing with St Kilda,”he told SEN’s Whateley.

“St Kilda have had their challenges but they (Bulldogs) want to see some answers forward of centre.

“They’ve got a great batch of young kids but how long can we keep talking about these great batch of young kids?

“I think they needed to sign a forward in the off-season and I’m not sure they have.”

The Bulldogs have the sixth youngest list in the competition with an average age of 23.90 years of age.

They take on the Saints, who also have an average age of 23.90, on Sunday in Ballarat to finish off their JLT series.
