Rising young batsman Will Pucovski has requested not to be selected in the upcoming Australian test squad against Pakistan.
The youngster has previously suffered from mental health issues and has once again asked for a break from the sport.
Pucovski took part in the Australia A clash with Pakistan, making five runs in the first innings.
Cricket Australia added in a statement that they fully support his decision to step aside, with the squad to be released later today.
He joins Glenn Maxwell and Nic Maddinson as players to take a mental health break from the sport in recent time.
