St Kilda youngster Jack Billings says contract talks with the Saints are progressing “really well”, but has clarified it isn’t his focus this early in the year.
Billings is out of contract at the end of this season, and is confident his future will be determined when the time is right.

“Really well,” Billings told SEN Breakfast when asked about how his contract is progressing.
“This time of year obviously the preseason is all your focus.
“I’m just trying to improve and work on my game. I’m looking forward to a big season ahead, so I’m sure all of that stuff will take care of itself in due course.”
Billings added he has a laugh at how his name is often thrown around in trade rumours.
The 23-year-old averaged 21.9 disposals and kicked 14 goals for St Kilda last year.
The Saints’ 2019 campaign begins on March 24 against Gold Coast.
