North Melbourne will look to announce a new senior coach within the next fortnight, according to The Age.
The Kangaroos are on the hunt for a new coach to replace Rhyce Shaw who parted ways with the club in October after he took an extended break from coaching for personal reasons.
North Melbourne appointed a selection panel to identify their next coach that includes Sydney premiership coach Paul Roos, CEO Ben Amarfio, GM of Football Brady Rawlings and board member and football director Glenn Archer.
Board member Sonja Hood and leadership adviser and psychologist Terry Coyne are also on the selection committee.
Brisbane GM of Football David Noble is reportedly on the Roos’ list of candidates as the club embarks on an extensive rebuild following a difficult 2020 season.
North finished 17th with just three wins, delisted 11 players and traded Shaun Higgins and Ben Brown to Geelong and Melbourne respectively.
But they bolstered their list by adding Aidan Corr from GWS, Western Bulldogs defender Lachie Young and Collingwood pair Jaidyn Stephenson and Atu Bosenavulagi.
