Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley was definitive in denying any link to the vacant Carlton coaching position.
The Blues sacked coach Brendon Bolton on Monday and yesterday on 1629 SEN SA Breakfast, Kane Cornes stated Carlton would target the Power coach or his management.
However, Hinkley stamped that notion out completely.
“Yeah, nah,” Hinkley told SEN SA Breakfast.
“I’ve got a job. I appreciate that you think someone else might have some interest in me, but it’s just part of the football world.
“It’s going to be interesting in the next little while in that space, but certainly in my position I’ve got a really strong position here at Port and I like and love what I do.”
