Carlton has reportedly met with out of contract Adelaide ruckman Sam Jacobs about a potential reunion.
The Herald Sun’s Sam Edmund is reporting that while it is low on the Blues’ priority list, they do have interest in the 31-year-old.
This comes after Carlton traded Jacobs to Adelaide in 2010. He played 17 games for the Blues in three seasons, caught behind a crowded ruck room.
As was the case in 2010, Matthew Kreuzer is the number one ruckman at Ikon Park and it would be difficult to see the two playing together in the same side – especially if Harry McKay, Charlie Curnow and Mitch McGovern are also in the 22.
Jacobs has also been linked with a move to GWS.
