Matthew Nicks will be unveiled as Adelaide Crows coach this week, according to foxfooty.com.au.
The report suggests that Nicks has been officially informed that he will be the next Crows head coach with an announcement expected either today or tomorrow.
The former Sydney Swan will depart his role as Leon Cameron’s senior assistant at GWS to take up the Adelaide job.
Previously, the 44-year-old Nicks spent eight years with Port Adelaide, serving as development coach, defence coach, forwards coach and senior assistant under Ken Hinkley.
Nicks will replace Don Pyke after he stepped down from the role last month after four years at the helm.
