Report: Out of favour Tiger meets with Gold Coast

2018-09-04T14:22+10:00

Richmond midfielder Anthony Miles has reportedly met with Gold Coast regarding a potential move during the upcoming trade period, according to AFL.com.au.

The out-of-contract Miles signed a one-year extension last year but has been on the fringes at Punt Road for the last two seasons, limited to just the one appearance in 2018.

With the Suns looking to deepen its midfield stocks, the 26-year-old could be tempted by a move to the Gold Coast in order to gain much needed opportunities at senior level.

Miles moved to the Tigers at the end of the 2013 season after 10 games with Greater Western Sydney.

The on-baller has played 71 AFL games and averaged 22.2 possessions per game since making his debut in 2012.
