Australia is in a dominant position in the Perth test, thanks to some fiery bowling from Mitchell Starc.
New Zealand has slumped to 5-109 in response to Australia’s 426, as the pink ball caused havoc under lights.
Starc took 4/31 in just 11 overs, but got some help dismissing Kane Williamson thanks to an incredible Steve Smith catch.
SEN Test Cricket’s Gerard Whateley called the dive one of cricket’s “classic catches”.
THAT IS UNBELIEVABLE!

The Williamson wicket would open the floodgates, with Henry Nicholls and Neil Wagner dismissed in quick succession.
Starc also contributed with the bat, making 30 alongside Pat Cummins’ 20. The two soaked up 126 balls and helped cement Australia’s dominant position.
