Former champion jockey, Simon Marshall and much-loved cricket and racing identity, Simon O’Donnell will hit the airwaves this weekend hosting 1116 SEN’s The Odds Couple show – dedicated to providing a fun yet focussed take on the form for the race day ahead.
The new weekly show will burst out of the SEN gates on Saturday June 16 from 8.00am - 9.00am. The hour-long show will see the industry topweights, O’Donnell and Marshall, dissect racing’s pressing issues, talking to key industry players with a keen eye on that day’s racing.
The skilled duo will be joined by gun racing analyst David Taggart to discuss the upcoming day’s form, providing listeners with key insights to achieve trackside success.
Celebrity guests who like a punt will feature through key segments including: a nod to nostalgia with ‘Tales of the Turf’, a place for punters to share their pain on ‘Hard Luck Harries’ and the not-to-be-missed ‘The Get Out’, which gives listeners something to chew on in the last on the card.
“The Odds Couple will transport listeners trackside, placing them at the forefront of all the racing action,” O’Donnell said.
“The show will provide an in-depth analysis of the upcoming day’s form as well as never before heard interviews with racing personalities and celebrity guests through relevant and engaging show segments,” he added.
